The Thunder Bay and Area Food Strategy brings local food players to the table to take a coordinated approach to achieving food security through the implementation of pertinent research, planning, policy, and program development. With over 40 members representing farmers, institutions, government, food security organizations and more, we are conveners and activators who implement the priorities of the Thunder Bay Food Charter to cook up a healthy, sustainable, and equitable food system.
The Vulnerable Populations Planning Table is a consortium of social service providers and community agencies in Thunder Bay, Ontario, to help assist vulnerable communities.
Diversity Thunder Bay [DTB] consists of individuals and representatives of organizations working to celebrate difference and end racism and discrimination in Thunder Bay, Ontario. In keeping with its mission to foster a culturally aware and equitable community, DTB welcomes diverse groups from the city. Established in 2000, our membership has grown steadily as we have worked, one initiative at a time, to raise awareness and educate the community.
