The United Way of Thunder Bay is changing the lives of local people by making strategic investments across Thunder Bay to help move people from poverty to possibility, foster healthy people and a strong community and help kids be all that they can be. We accomplish this through assisting 30 local organizations to provide 64 vital health and human care programs for those in need. In addition to funding crucial programs the United Way works closely with community partners to address underlying causes to community issues, strengthen the capacity of community networks, and work collaboratively to change and improve the quality of life for all.
