Stardrop (formerly known as singer / songwriter Danielle Pollari) is a pop r&b sensation. Thunder Bay’s local sweet heart has reinvented herself and is stepping into a bigger, bolder version of herself. Stardrop has been featured on numerous Spotify and Amazon playlists. She recently recorded her first album with producers Tennyson King and Dan Hosh; a collection of self love anthems that rewrite the narrative about what it means to be unapologetically ourselves. Shawnee Kish discovered music as medicine at a very early age. Born dreaming about being on stage and starting her journey toward a career in music at the age of 12, music quickly became a source of self-empowerment for the Two Spirit soulful singer, allowing her to stand tall in her personal strength and power. So far this year, Shawnee has celebrated her first JUNO aware nomination (Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year), earned a place on the Edmonton Music Prize’s 2021 long list and signed to a label (Amelia Recordings).

Collectors gather stones to display on shelves. Musicians accumulate experiences and stories they save for the perfect song. The Honest Heart Collective is a sill emblazoned with captivating shapes and sounds: the space between a promise and pain. Rooted in Thunder Bay, Canada, they build earnest and urgent songs with the tools they’ve gathered over time. Their music roars like the electricity of a rock show in the 60’s colliding head on with melody driven, dirt stained indie and revivalist emo. They exist at the intersection of old and new, exploring the spirited cracks between.
