Fundraising & Charity

We are super pleased, and excited to formally announce this special event.
FRIDAY OCTOBER 4th, 2024 (19+)
Tumblestone will be teaming up with Black Pirates Pub, family, friends, artists, musicians, businesses and some of our Tumblestone sponsors… To host a benefit for Northern Reach Network.
Northern Reach Network is truly doing the lord’s work. They do so much, for so many, with so little, and their compassion, determination really sets precedence, and tugs on the heartstrings.
Their mission is to care for the animals in world we live in, from relocating animals from over-populated communities in need, to supplying northern Ontario communities with food/pet care items and by supporting spay/neuter clinics. At Northern Reach, they strive to set an example for compassion and care for animals as well as the people who love them.
Working with remote northern Ontario community volunteers, they fly in dogs to Thunder Bay, where they are temporarily fostered before going to reputable dog rescue groups to be adopted.

We all are teaming up to help this volunteer-run organization raise funds to crush their current fundraiser campaign, and continue to help these sweet little helpless creatures, that so many do so much for.

Joining us for this special event, will be:
Reckless Abandon
Forever Dead
Bird Brain
B The Wiz

We like to ask our extended family and friends to help us, help this organization help those Pups, and kitties, of all ages.

Invite some friends, and if you can… support directly by coming out, and/or at the event.
There will be raffles at the event, to raise as much as we can for this organization. We have received many great items for prizes… and will be posting some of them shortly.

Thank you kindly to the people, and caring local businesses that donated, and/or gave items for this cause/special event.

Brunswick’s Big Adventure Book Tour for a Cure

Jackson Charron-Okerlund Ran Across Canada Raising Awareness/$100,000 for Cancer Research. 🇨🇦🎗 Coast to Coast for a Cure.

Here are the days, locations, and venues I plan to be at over the 45-day book tour starting May 1st, 2024. Some of these locations may be subject to change. If exciting inclusive venues come up along the way, I may change some meetup spots. Share your thoughts? Looking forward to getting out there and seeing everyone. Let’s find a cure!

After running across Canada and raising $100,000 for cancer research, I felt compelled to continue fighting for all of those in need of a cure. Too many have lost their mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters to this terrible disease, and I would be grateful for a day cancer is only written about in history books. $10 of every book sale on this journey will be pledged to the Terry Fox Foundation and their Terry Fox Research Institute. They do amazing work in the realm of cancer research and are prolonging and saving more lives than ever before.
