The Festival of Colours is thousands of years old tradition from India where participants will throw bright colourful, environment-friendly and healthy powders in the air.

BrewHa Festival


BrewHa Festival, hosted by the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, showcases a variety of local and regional culinary offerings including a wide selection of craft beer, cooler, wine and seltzer tastings, delicious food options, artisan flavours & music.

BrewHa Festival offers 2 sessions:

Friday, July 5: 4 pm – 9 pm and Saturday, July 6: 4 pm – 9 pm

Tickets include entry, a commemorative sample glass, and 4 sample tokens. Tickets are available exclusively on our website at www.brewhafestival.com. Additional sample tokens are available online with ticket purchase or at the BrewHa tent for $2.50 each.

Token Package

Add 10 extra tokens to your ticket order and pick up your tokens at the door. Each ticket includes 4 sample tokens, this add-on allows you to purchase 10 extra tokens now so that you can skip the token line at the festival. This option is only available online at the time of ticket purchase. Additional tokens can also be purchased in-person at Brew Ha on the day of your session.

Beer Pairing Event

New this year, The Pairing Pavilion!

Running from 5:30 – 6:30 pm each day, the Pairing Pavilion presents a Beer Pairing Event: A journey through Beer and Cheese. We’ll talk about how food and beer can complement or contrast food flavours. Tickets to the Beer Pairing Event are $25 each, presented in partnership with the Cheese Encounter and Sleeping Giant Brewery.

Your ticket includes:

  • A seat at the Pairing Pavilion
  • 3 beer samples
  • 3 cheese samples
  • Educational programming

This event starts at 5:30 pm sharp. Please plan to be on-site by 5:00 pm to allow time to get through security, check in, pick up your tokens and get a seat at the Pavilion.

This option is only available online at the time of your ticket purchase. No refunds. Limited to 50 tickets per session.

The Rules: This event is 19+ (no exceptions). Pets are not permitted (no one wants to step on your dog after a few samples). There is no smoking in the festival area, please exit to the parking lot to smoke or vape. No liquids or outside food are permitted through the gates, but please feel free to bring an empty bottle as we have a water station to keep you hydrated. Tickets are non-refundable.

Folklore Festival 2024 is on its way and it is going to be HOT!

Folklore Festival 2024 is on its way and it is going to be HOT! “Travel the World in 48 Hours” at the 51st Folklore Festival 2024, May 4th and May 5th at the Fort William Gardens and Curling Club in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada presented by the Thunder Bay Multicultural Association. Tantalizing international foods, incredible entertainment, “shop-the-world” booths, exhibits, an activity-packed Children’s Area, and local artists on site await you. The Region’s most colourful event of the year will take visitors on a “Trip Around the World” in two fun-filled days allowing them to experience the magnificent sights, sounds and flavours woven into the fabric of our country by our various ethnocultural and Indigenous communities. We are proud to celebrate our 51st Folklore Festival and the rich cultural heritages that make Canada one of the greatest and most diverse nations on our planet.

All this for our Folklore Prices of Adults $5.00, Students/Seniors $3.00, Children 4-12 $1.00, Children 3 & under free bringing people together at this family-friendly, fully accessible, and affordable Event.

Descarga Latina from the Folklorama Talent Agency & Winnipeg will heat up the Main Stage Saturday Night with Salsas, Cumbias, and Hot Latin Rhythms that will have you dancing on the floor and in your seats…all for Folklore prices. Come Celebrate “Cinco de Mayo” at Folklore! “Descarga Latina” on the Main Stage Saturday May 4th from 7:30pm-10:30pm…all for Folklore prices! Visitors are invited to listen, dance, and ENJOY! Let the party begin! Why not try International Foods, Wines, and Beers in the Food Court for the best prices in town (the Food Court is open till 11pm.

International foods and imported beers and wines will be available in the Folklore International Food Court so supper at Folklore takes you around the World. From Spanish Empanadas to Slovak Cabbage Rolls, to Jerk Chicken. to Bannock Burgers, and more, you will Travel the World at Folklore right here in Thunder Bay.

Our Children’s area has all free activities for children including the Rockin’ Rainforest Inflatable courtesy of TBaytel and has a great  “Cinco de Mayo” theme.
