Bora Laskin Faculty of Law 10 Year Anniversary Gala


Please join us as we take a look back at the first decade of the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, while also celebrating the people, communities, and collaborative efforts which continue to support the Faculty’s innovative program and exceptional students.

PRICING:

Individual (1) Ticket – $200 (plus processing fee)

Table of Ten (10) – $1800 (plus processing fee)

The 10th Anniversary Gala is a celebration of our first decade and also a fundraiser for student awards and scholarships. A tax receipt of $100 will be provided to all purchasers of an individual seat and a tax receipt of $900 will be provided to table purchasers. Thank you for your support.

Port Arthur Rotary Centennial Anniversary Gala


A gala to recognize 100 years of service as we celebrate the Port Arthur Rotary Club’s Centennial Anniversary.

Join us for an evening of special memories, music, dining, dancing and fundraising in support of our Centennial Project – Thunder Bay’s new Art Gallery on the waterfront.

Program:

  • 5:30 – Welcome Reception: Signature Anniversary Cocktail and Hors d’Oeuvres, Music by Danny Johnson, Silent Auction
  • 7:00 – Dinner
  • 8:00 – Main Program: Speakers and Live Auction
  • 9:00 – Entertainment & Dancing: Dueling Pianos, Musical Requests, Photo Booth , Balloon Pop and Silent Auction

Attendees will receive a Centennial Souvenir Program.

All donors will be acknowledged at the event. Donations of $20 or more will be eligible for a charitable receipt, and donors of $100 or more will be listed in and receive a copy of the Centennial Souvenir Program.

Signature Dinner from the Dew


Join us, United in Local Love, for our Annual Signature Dinner from the Dew. Dine-in or purchase a tasty take-home meal on October 26 and support the United Way of Thunder Bay and the Dew Drop Inn. Dine with friends, purchase a meal for yourself, the whole family, OR consider Paying it Forward by purchasing a meal for a patron in need from the Dew Drop Inn! Pick-up time for take-home meals is from 4:00 to 7:00.

New – Enjoy a unique full service dine-in experience with friends and supporters in the Dew Drop Inn dining room. Includes coffee, tea, juice or water. Dine-in sittings start at 5:00.

After Dinner Drag Show & Dance

Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door. Doors open at 8:45 PM and show will start just after 9:00 PM.

* No Refund will be issued once tickets are purchased.

We invite you to enjoy four different downtown locations, each stop including food and a drink (mocktails for those partaking in Dry-Feb), interact with new people and support the Northern Reach Rescue Network.

You will begin at Goods and Co. at the Woodside Bar, carry on to El Tres, enjoy your main course at Seler/Event Space and then end with a sweet treat at the Red Lion Smokehouse where you can take your evening on whatever journey comes next.

This event will offer exclusive items that are not necessarily on the menu (yet!) at these locations and the opportunity to shake up the February doldrums!

We will have two departure time slots (5:30pm and 6:15pm) available with 20 people per group. The entire event will last roughly 2.5 hours, therefore ending no later than 9pm if you depart at 6:15pm.
